I am I victim of purchasing a used car from the Premium Wheels Newkirk dealership, when I received the car, it was not as advertised in the add as having power seats, or new tires.

Here’s the kicker, on my bill of sale it states in negotiation that I am purchasing a certified car which I had to pay an extra $500.00 for, and did not receive a certification slip with it. When I called the dealership back with regards to where my safety slip was the agent directed me to bring it to a local mechanic and Premium Wheels would cover the cost for the new safety.

After my local mechanic checked the car over it was discovered that the car was no where near road worthy condition and would need a roughly estimated $2500.00 to pass.

Unfortunately Premium Wheels refused to pay for the work that needed to be done on the car and would not agree on taking the car back for a full refund with shipping at their expense.

I hope that with my experience being publicised it may help any other used car purchasers to be aware or theses scams. Be careful when purchasing a used car and contact the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council, they will have the proper procedures available necessary to bring you justification.

I have dealt with them before, They are not bad people. you buying a car online you should expect the unexpected! sales guys say the good things you should be smart and check the car. i think its wrong to buy a used car on the phone!

Got a truck from them happy with it saved some money people just have to be more carful. If not sure get a mechanic you know or trust to look at it first.

I was scammed by them too. Bought a Jeep, and 2 weeks later the clutch and transmission both need replacing. CTV Consumer Alert just did a story on it called 'buying a lemon'. I am out $4,000 until I can get it back in small claims court. Anyone else who was scammed by them - please post so I can have ammo in court to show this isn't the first time.

i bought a jeep off them 4 years ago everything was too good to be true when i drove the jeep off the lot it was a dream drove amazing and then a month later the distributer shaft went in it cost me 300 dollars to fix then called them they said they wanted nothing to do with it so i went on with my life driving jeep then month later it went agian thinking this is too common so i had my mechanic of 35 years exp tear the engine apart to only find that the cam shaft was thrown out aka bent which kept chewing out the distributor shaft kept calling them and they kept complaining and not care so i gave up but i wanted to let others know that the premium wheels that was on major mac is now the one at elgin mills and yonge under premium auto sales DONT GET SCAMMED he lies

Premium Wheels is fraud, I bought a 2001 Nissan Maxima from them in 2009. I suspected that they have tampered with the dashboard but did not know what happened. I also paid $500.00 for certification which I did not get a slip for, the excuse is that if he can register it then it is certified. When I took the car to Canadian tire, I was told that it would not have passed certification as the check engine light had being removed - knowing what I know now, I would have sued the company. Please stay away from Premium wheels.

Just picked up a Volvo V70 , after 3 days d transmission was faulty and the car kept slipping. their mechanic revealed there was a transmission problem before. I got duped for $4999. the car in my driveway leaking the oil. what shud i do to the premium guys. he kept saying his manager is on leave in California !

premium wheels inc took a deposit form me assuring me that it is 100% refundable if I dont get my financing together after a week of trying to get the financing and not being able to get it I asked for the refund and the owner Ben refused to return it, I am filing a complaint with OMVIC ,this guy is a crook and makes other dealers look bad too! he is all about lies, dont buy a car from this guy he is the biggest loser ever , Please call OMVIC if you have been ripped off so they can get on his case, call even if it's old at least they know this guy is not right for this business...
