It was 2 visits for $65, which I paid for on my credit card. I told the customer service representative that it would be October since I could use the coupon, since I had just had my hair cut. He told me that was fine, because the coupon was good for 6 months. On that assurance, I went ahead and sprang for what I thought was a really good deal. The coupon arrived promptly within a few days, and in the fine print is a written guarantee that the coupon was good for 6 months. So, in good faith I waited til the week before I wanted to use it to contact the salon. The person who answered the phone said "oh, that offer has expired." When I told her about the guarantee she said: "that was an independent marketing firm that we are not affiliated with, and the offer has expired." I asked to speak to the manager, who was conveniently "out of the office"---of course. So, I left my phone number and asked the woman to call me ASAP. She never did. I was not rude or angry...I didn't really get angry until I got off the phone. I'm just out $65 and not even given the courtesy of a follow-up call. They wouldn't give me my money back if I called back. Nor would I allow them to cut my hair, given the circumstances (can you say "sheared lamb"?) I just want to tell everyone in Nashville about their unethical treatment of potential customers---and breach of promise. Better to go to Fantastic Sam's than let these scumbags touch your money!! Buyer, beware!
