DON'T GET SCAMMED LIKE I DID!!!! I should have expected it when I thought it was too good to be true. When sourcing a new telephony carrier for my company I found Canada Internet - Rocky Mountain Telecom (Michael King) on google as a company that offers IP VPN, VOIP, DID, SIP, origination, termination, dedicated and VPS servers for hosted PBX and Asterisk servers at a very low cost to any reseller across Canada.

I contacted the company to discuss opportunities to work together. It seemed to be a good fit as I was sold into believing this company can provide me with excellent support, quality service and a cost effective solution. But what I really got was... terrible support, a bad attitude and ripped off!!!

Telephone Scam
I was contacted via telephone initially by Portland System's Mike Schultz approximately August 2009. He said that my company was chosen as one of a few to be selected to be "Preferred Contractors" to sell their steel Buildings. He said that currently Portland does not ship to California but that they were opening up now to start shipping here.
Mike told me that he found my company through the internet "Yellowbook" pages. He said that they had gotten some very favorable comments regarding my company. He said that if I were interested & accepted by Portland then I would have to act quickly because there were only 10 companies in his list and they were only choosing a few.  I was advised to send a profile of my company via Fed Ex/Priority Mail and RUSH RUSH it. This website is for anyone thinkiing of moving to the country of panama, this law firm is a complete scam, when i contacted them on some immigration advice, they promised to handle all the necessary paperwork and will ask for $3000 as a retainer, but will take $2000 since they will do nothing for the money, after one month they wait for you to contact them and question the status, they will then pretend to get upset for your questioning and tell you they do not want you as a client since you question them. When you ask for a refund they just tell you the funds were used for the intial meeting, and some calls made on your behalf, but will not advice what calls made.
That is the end of there contact with you. you have lost your money !!!

My husband invested over £12,000 in buying saress products for me to have a small business, he also invested £3000 setting up a professional website to sell the products.
When the goods were delivered and the website was up and running John and Julia Fish told us we had to remove the pictures showing the saress as the pictures were there property and we were in breach of their intellectual property and they would get their lawyers to deal with us. We were advised by our lawyers that they could instigate legal proceedings against us. I find this appalling business practise and would like to warn anyone that is thinking of buying from them to get in writing that you are allowed to use their pictures and text. We have a small ready mix concrete company and we got an order from some company called Brad Wall Concrete & Landscaping (2554 goldeneye in League city TX) his phone number is 832-385-4433  and he also calls me from 281-554-6953 - his secretary (sister or wife) is called Molly and she is one rude shyster.
Molly Wall ordered a truck load of readymix concrete to be delivered to a job site and Brad L Wall (League city TX, Houston Texas) called to confirm the delivery.
When our driver arrived onsite another crew was their arguing over money with someone over the phone (presumably Brad Wall) over money that was owed to them. At the end of July this year, I took advantage of a "package deal" being offered by Harlow Salon on Music Row. It was 2 visits for $65, which I paid for on my credit card.  I told the customer service representative that it would be October since I could use the coupon, since I had just had my hair cut.  He told me that was fine, because the coupon was good for 6 months.  On that assurance, I went ahead and sprang for what I thought was a really good deal.  The coupon arrived promptly within a few days, and in the fine print is a written guarantee that the coupon was good for 6 months. So, in good faith I waited til the week before I wanted to use it to contact the salon.

I started working for him on September 15th, 2009, he made $1315.00 worth of payments to me and then stopped communicating with me and refused payment over an issue that was his fault, not mine! Now I am $1450.00 in the hole and I have bills to pay!

Here's a credit account scam that I learned about today by accident.
but it is one that we  all need to watch out for because once done, I have found that the same companies that pull this scam have no way to communicate with them in order to be able to reverse it!.
It seems ot be a pretty wide spread "free calogue"  scam; The worst offender to date? Fingerhut .com 
Here is how it works. You see that flashy "free catalogues" come on online. I clicked on it because I am decorating a new apartment. I chose a few includng Fingerhut, a company I had heard of but never dealt with before. Whoopie, I get a free cataglogue from Fingerhut.. Surprisingly, it says in bright red on the cover: My first personal name and then $350 PREAPPROVED CREDIT!
