Ripped OffMoved by Editor on 3-4-2008. from:
It appears that the common practice with [Personal Data] and [Records Search] sites is to charge you whether or not you get the results you expect. If you search for a record that does not exist - you will be charged; if you search for a particular piece of information and an innocent misspelling brings back an unfavorable result - you will be charged. Even if it is not spelled out in the FINE PRINT, you will be charged, as these companies many times are themselves charged for searches as these sites are the [middle men] who provide the [Portal] but not the actual service. They have to pay for the service they provide you, so they will make damn sure they charge you no matter what. Too bad so many companies (sites) like these do not spell this out BEFORE they have you sign up and take your money. ~Noah
