Author's Comments: 0 Rebuttal: You must be logged in: 0 Status: Unresolved Between 2007 and 2008 I had auto insurance with Nationwide in Conway,S.C. owned by Chris Johnson.They stopped sending my bills and I had to call them several times.Then when my van was payed off I wanted to drop full coverage so they asked me to fax a copy of my title to them and it would be taken care of.Then they claimed I did not fax the title and wanted me to come to the office to sign a paper.I was also ignored several times when I called.I refused to sign anything because they were lying.I then went to Direct insurance in North Myrtle Beach,S.C.They said I would have 10 payments and 2 months without a payment.They also had my boyfriend sign as a driver.After only one month without a payment the said I had to renew.They even said to renew would be the same deal.So I called Allstate and they said that it was never on record that I had insurance with Direct.It was on recaord that I was still with Johnson's Nationwide Insurance.I took out insurance with them.Liability Auto Insurance.I also called the National Insurance Crime Bureau and they said they were run by the insurance companies and you cannott report an insurance company for a crime.So I guess unless you can afford an expensive attorney the insurance companies can get away with anything.
