AND cisworldwide.com RIPPED ME OFF!

I needed to do a background check on an individual and I bought a membership with CIS AKA: GovernementRegistry.org who says clearly on their website that with a membership I can do unlimited searches including: Arrest Records, Court Records, Criminal Records, DUI/Driving Offense, Felony/Misdemeanor, Police Records, Sex Offender, Bankruptcies, Birth Records, Divorce Records, Legal Judgments, Marriage Records, Property Records, Vital Records and much more.

I pay $19.95 and get the login details and it takes me to a different site: cisworldwide.com who now state I have to PAY to do a search for anything other that basic whois information which includes a last known address (which I know how to do FREE!). Searches are done with "points" that must be purchased: 5 @ $14.95 and up. A comprehensive search would cost nearly $100!!!!!!!!!

This company may get you the information needed, but not without you having to spend A LOT more $$$ money to do it. They are deceptive in how they get your money, by telling you one thing but giving you less.

I have a complaint filed with my Credit Card company now and am trying to reverse the charges by filing a dispute. I looked on the internet and found others who have been ripped off by this outfit as well.

STEER CLEAR!

This company ripped me off also! It stated I could do a search for $9.95 and charged my credit card $49.95. I will be disputing this matter with my credit card company.

They totally ripped me off. I They require you have a reciept # in order to email them. Well I can't find a reciept # so I can't even email them with my complaints! This is maddening because they say you have a seven day window to be refunded, well how can I be refunded if I can't contact anyone!!!!?????

Had the same problem. Paid my money to find a divorce record and got "No Matches". Then ran a check for KNOWN marriage records and got "No Matches". It's a highly advertised ripoff. Mike

Thought I was going to get a complete arrest record.
Only to be switched to a new web site and after completing a credit card order suddenly find I cannot find any report.
Also, I am unable to send a n email to their customer support.
