Judge Barbara Jaffe tried to destroy my dream by telling me to give up quest my dream of 15 years without allowing me to finish presenting my case without reason. Judge Barbara Jaffe lied and made up the false statement I will never know whether what i own is a print of not. Art experts have told what Judge Barbara Jaffe said was false and was only said to hurt me. Judge Barbara Jaffe allowed my witness to be badgered by my opponent's lawyer. The defendant's lawyer did not have to say much, the judge won the case for him by making things up. Judge Barbara Jaffe did not allow my other witness's to speak after waiting for 3 hours on hard court benches. She did the on purpose. Judge Barbara Jaffe allowed the court guard stand in front of me and roll his eyes and trying look bored while i presented my case to the court. the court guard had an ear ring in his ear making the most horrible expression trying to hurt my presentation to the court. i am convinced Judge Barbara Jaffe told the guard to stand in front of me to hurt my case. The 80 year old man I came to court with was not allowed to speak believed Judge Barbara Jaffe was paid off. Judge Barbara Jaffe allowed subjective hurtful statements she gathered outside the court room giving no proof what the judge said in final findings. Judge Barbara Jaffe is unprofessional and a liar. She should not be allowed to have this important job
Judge Jaffe said i would not ever authenticate a work of art without reason. This false and subjective statement was intended to destroy my life's dream of authenticating a work of art and was given without any proof or literature. I have no trust in legal system.
Judge Jaffe did not require my opponents lawyer give copies of documents the lawyer gave presented to the court Nor did she allow me to read but allowed my opponents lawyer to read from documents. Ii hope this judge never gets promoted. She is a bad one. When I saw Judge Barbara Jaffe yelling at the woman who was crippled at the beginning of the night i knew she was a bad one. After coming to court 4 times seeing 3 different judges as a result of being postponed my opponent's lawyer. The night my case was finally to be heard, judge Jaffe had the my witness who are old wait 3 1/2 hours on hard benches for my case to be heard. She is uncaring of people and old people. We did not get out of the court room until 11:30 PM and even than would only allow one person to testify for me out of the five who came with me. I don't think I have ever felt more ripped off in my 56 years of life than meeting judge Barbara Jaffe. i had over one inch file of evidence and none of it was admitted and no reason was ever given. Shame on her. Jaffe gives judges bad names. Judge Jaffe allowed privileged emails my opponent lawyer obtained from me while claiming to want represent me and after getting all the information in my emails turns and says he will my representing my opponent . When i complained to the chief judge they said i could appeal but will I ever trust a judge again.

However, I DO have an experience with The Honorable Judge Jaffe to share. She married my partner and me SUNDAY, 7/24/11, as a VOLUNTEER to help the city deal with the crush of the first day that Marriage Equality became New York law. From the moment we said hello, I experienced a kindness in her eyes. When I had difficutly uttering my vow, she was kind and patient.
I didn't discuss my feelings about her Honor with my partner until the next day, when he said that he had felt the same kindness in her from the very outset.
As I said at the beginning, I have no knowledge of your case. However, I do have first-hand experience of a very different Judge Jaffe, and that needs airing too.
