Author's Comments: 1 Rebuttal: You must be logged in: 0 Status: Unresolved On May the 23rd 2011, I purchased a NEW consloe couch from Ashley Furniture in Murrieta Ca. I am severly disabled and have to have a special type of furniture so that I my be comfortable, Ashley had what I needed. I took delivery on 6/3/11 and right away there were problems! a zipper in one of the couhsions was broken. They wrote it up and said they needed to order a part to fix it. Three weeks and 3 wrong parts later this problem was addressed. Next the frame was bent and when you recline the SO CALLED LEATHER rubbed abd was tearing the SO CALLED LEATHER on the arm rest. It is now 7/19/2011 and today their going to pick the couch up and take it to their shop and try to BEND it back into place. REALLY it was damaged on delivery and their NOT GOING TO REPLACE IT. On top of that I am left with nothing to sit on until Ashley decides to bring the couch back. I paid $723.17 for a NEW couch and got damaged goods for my money! This is the problem today in America, Nobody stands behind their product. GET THE MONEY SCREW THE CONSUMER! I Urge people DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY FURNITURE! The only way to stop these ripoffs is to hurt them in the wallet it is the only thing they understand!!!
