Domain Registry of America

They tell you in a sales pitch that your domain is about to expire and request you renew with them - the cost? Usually around US $30 for one year. That to me is a rip-off. There is fine print on the back of the letter that is so fine I actually need a magnifying glass to read it. It says too that they are just a reseller - not an accredited domain registrar. I can buy a domain from from any of the top registrars for $9.00-$15.00 and have all of the services provided to fully manage the domain and all future renewals. Even small companies like seemybiz.com give you good prices and a domain control panel to edit your information. I would not register with this Domain Registry of America in a million years. There is no reason for the amount of fine print unless some critical information is hidden within. Check out the BBB report here, they have a rating of F, which is very bad. Oh for shame! Well that's my take on this company. Guy
